Users

Learn how to manage your users.


When you navigate to User management from left menu, you can see the list of users in your Actioner workspace. On this page, you can manage your users and their permissions.

Inviting a user

Navigate to User management page from left menu and then click + Invite user.

If you select Invite via Slack option, you'll see the users in your Slack workspace listed. You can search with the name or email of the user you want to invite.

The users you invite via Slack are automatically added to your Actioner worksapce.

If you select Invite via email option, enter the email address of the new user(s). The user will get an email invite to join your workspace.

Resend invitation

When you navigate to User management page from left menu, you can see the pending invitations. Click Resend invitation to re-invite a user to your Actioner workspace.

Inviting a user in Slack

In Slack, go to Apps from the left menu and find Actioner. On Home tab of Actioner app, click + Invite Slack users and select the users you want to invite.

You can select to invite all users in your Slack workspace. The users you invite in Slack are automatically added to your Actioner worksapce.

Updating a user's role

Go to User management page from left menu and navigate to the user you want to update. You can select Admin or User role. Workspace admins can

  • Manage users and groups
  • Manage billing and subscription
  • Connect Slack workspace
  • Update workspace name and URL

Adding users to your app

Navigate to your app in My apps page and go to Permissions tab. Click + Add permission.

Workflow permissions

You can restrict a specific user to run a specific workflow by updating its permissions.

User groups

Groups serve as a robust feature, allowing you to categorize users based on their roles, teams, or responsibilities. By aligning users with groups, you can streamline the management of workflow permissions and enhance access control to a wide range of features and resources with greater efficiency.

To manage your user groups, switch to Groups tab on User management page. More information can be gound on Groups page.
