What's it for?

Comments on Trello help you communicate and track a card's progress. Trello app for Slack allows you to sync these comments with Slack, so you can stay updated and understand the card's progress better.

How it works

When a new comment is added to the Trello card or a new reply is added to the Trello card notification that Actioner sends to Slack, Actioner syncs these messages in both ways;

• When a comment is added to a Trello card, you get notified on #actioner-trello-notifications channel.
• Actioner finds the previously sent new card created notification in Slack and sends the Trello comments under the message.
• When a reply is added to a Trello card notification message, Actioner also sends that message to the Trello card as a new comment.

How to get started

To get started syncing Trello comments and Slack messages;

1. Install Trello board management app from the Actioner App directory. 
2. Connect to your Slack and Trello workspaces.
3. Once setup is completed, comments will be synced.
