What’s it for

You can start retrospective sessions effortlessly in Slack. By utilizing Actioner's retrospective dedicated channels, teams can efficiently gather insights, track action items, and strengthen team dynamics, all while seamlessly integrating retrospectives into Slack.

How it works

  1. To begin a retrospective session, invoke Actioner in Slack by typing /actioner,  and then select the Create Retrospective workflow.
  2. In the prompted form, enter session specifics including the name, template selection, and invitation channel.
  3. Click the Create button.
  4. Actioner will automatically generate a dedicated channel within Slack for your retrospective session and sends an invitation to the Slack channel you selected. 
  5. During the retrospective, team members collaborate, contribute insights, reveal notes, mark duplicates, add action items, and manage them.
  6. When the retrospective session concludes, select the End button.
  7. Actioner archives the dedicated retrospective channel automatically after 7 days, maintaining a clean slate for future sessions.

How to get started

  1. Sign up to Actioner.
  2. Install Retrospective app to your Actioner workspace.
  3. Connect to Slack. 
  4. After successfully setting up the app, call Actioner and start a new retrospective session in Slack whenever you want.
