Actioner allows you to easily acknowledge and celebrate your coworker’s achievements in Slack with Kudos Gem. 

You can offer immediate, public, or private recognition of successes, contributing to a positive and appreciative team culture. 

With the ability to give kudos in Slack, you enhance team morale and encourage more spontaneous recognition, moving away from formal or less frequent appreciation methods. 

How to give recognition in Slack

Each user initially has a daily allowance of 5 kudos 💎, which can be adjusted as needed; you can give kudos either publicly or privately.

1. For private recognition, you can run Give kudos workflow with /actioner command on any channel.
2. For public recognition;
   Mention a coworker and give kudos by including 💎emoji in your appreciation message.
   Example recognition: I appreciate @john's outstanding leadership on the recent project. Your dedication and hard work have significantly impacted our team and the successful completion of the project! 💎 💎 💎‍
   Or add 💎 (gem) emoji reaction to any message.

💡 Make sure Actioner is invited to the desired channel to make a public coworker recognition.

How to get started

All you need to do is to install Kudos Gem app from Actioner app directory and connect to your Slack workspace. After successfully setting up the app, you can give your coworkers kudos.
