Bitbucket Pipelines app - Taken to next level with the new version of Actioner

For DevOps professionals, Bitbucket Pipelines app has already made life easier.

You were able to convert a Bitbucket Pipeline into a ready-to-run workflow in Slack. And if you needed to run multiple pipelines in Slack, you had to repeat this process.

But there are no limits, as we've promised. So, we have updated our existing Slack app to make running Bitbucket Pipelines easier than ever.

The new version of Actioner includes an amazing feature that creates Bitbucket Pipeline parameters automatically.

What awaits you?

Once you connect to your Bitbucket account with Acioner, all you need to do is type the /actioner command in any Slack channel and select the Run pipeline option.

You can display all Bitbucket Pipelines after you select your organization and repository in the prompting form.

When you pick a pipeline, its parameters will be automatically collected. All you have to do is enter the parameter values and click the "Run" button.

How cool is that?

How to get started with the new app?

1. Install the Bitbucket Pipelines app in your Actioner workspace.
2. Connect to your Bitbucket account and Slack workspace if you haven’t done so already. And that’s all.
3. After that, you can trigger any pipeline from Slack, you don’t need any other configuration.

💡 If you want to receive notifications about pipeline run results in your Slack workspace, you can. Run the Subscribe to Bitbucket events to create a webhook on your chosen Bitbucket repository. Then run Select channel for pipeline runs to choose a pipeline and select a channel. You will receive pipeline run result messages from the chosen Slack channel. Additionally, you have the option to select the specific event types for which you'd like to receive notifications.
