Actioner’s Poll app allows you to post polls that can be responded using numbered buttons on the poll; we term this as Numbers.

Numbered polls provide a straightforward way to conduct polls and gather responses when you have multiple specific options and you want a clear and unambiguous answer. Here are some examples of how Numbered polls can be effectively used in your Slack workspace:

• Scheduling: "When should we hold our next team meeting? 1️⃣ Monday 10 AM, 2️⃣ Tuesday 3 PM, 3️⃣ Wednesday 1 PM."
• Content preferences: "What kind of content would you like to see in our internal newsletter? 1️⃣Employee interviews,  2️⃣ Tech tips,  3️⃣ Project highlights."
• Next team lead: "Who do you nominate for leading the next project? 1️⃣ Alice, 2️⃣ Bob, 3️⃣ Charlie.

How to create Numbers Slack poll

You can create 4 types of polls; Emoji polls, Numbers polls, Select-list polls and Free-form polls. 

1. To create a Numbers poll in Slack, all you need to do is call Poll (type /poll), select Create a poll and choose Numbers.
2. First, you need to select which channel to post your poll and type your question.
3. Then, you need to provide options for your question. You can provide 5 options at max.
4. You can select whether and when to make responses anonymous. 
5. In addition to scheduling, you can set a closing time for your poll as well.
6. When you’re ready click Create poll. Once the poll is posted, everyone can provide responses through selecting the number assigned to the preferred option.
7. View responses action button in the notification allows you to view responses in real-time.
8. You can also send reminders to participants, and edit, close, or save the poll as a template using Settings button.

After the poll closes, you can easily check the responses again by clicking View responses action button and share them in your preferred Slack channel.

How to get started

1. Install the Poll app to your Slack workspace
2. CallPoll (type /poll) and select Create a poll.
