List and search Jira issues in Slack

Navigate to your Jira issues without leaving Slack.

What is it for?

Actioner lets you view and search your open Jira issues in Slack, using filters or JQL queries. This provides a convenient way to keep track of your work and stay on top of your tasks without having to navigate through Jira's interface.

How it works

Open issues list

Your teams can see a list of their open issues directly in Slack by running the workflow named My open issues. The list includes key information such as the summary, status, issue type, and assignee.

Search with filters

Your engineers can also search for Jira issues using filters directly in Slack. After running the workflow named Search issues by filters, by default, you can select the project, issue type, status, creation date, assignee, board, or the sprint or enter a keyword. The filters can be customized to search with custom issue fields.

JQL queries

For more advanced searches, you can use JQL (Jira Query Language) to find specific issues that meet certain criteria. By running the Search issues using JQL workflow, and entering the query, you can get the list of matching issues.

From the list of open issues or search results, with a few clicks,  you can view details of your issues and take actions on them such as assigning, commenting, changing the issue status, or logging work.

The ability to list and search issues in Slack brings your Jira projects directly into where you work enables you and your teams to navigate and take actions on the issues that matter most to you.
