Dedicate Slack channels for critical Jira issues

Create Slack channel from Jira issue. Collaborate with your team on critical issues with real-time updates.

What's it for?

When an issue is labeled as "critical" or has the highest priority, a dedicated Slack channel is automatically created and the assignee, reporter, and watchers of the issue are invited. This channel enables real-time collaboration and communication among your engineers involved in resolving the issue.

How it works

  1. When an issue is labeled as "critical" or has the highest priority, a dedicated Slack channel is created and named after the issue key.
  2. The assignee, reporter, and watchers of the issue are automatically invited to the dedicated channel.
  3. The dedicated channel displays a summary of the issue that includes its status, issue type, priority, and assignee.
  4. Team members can also take actions to view the issue details, assign the issue, comment on it, log wor, and change the status - all within the dedicated Slack channel.
  5. All updates to the issue, including comments, status changes, and work logs, are automatically synced with the dedicated channel in real-time, ensuring that everyone is kept up-to-date on the progress of the issue.

Dedicated issue channels help streamline communication and collaboration, making it easier for teams to work together and resolve critical issues quickly and effectively.
