Learn about disabling and enabling actions
Disabling an action makes it invisible and inaccessible in Slack and through the action bar. A disabled action can not be run until it is enabled back.
Enable and disable can only be performed by app admins.
Disabling an action
Disabling an action hides it from the suggested actions in Slack and on the action bar for any app user. App admins can continue to update and test actions in disabled mode.
To disable an action, navigate your action's Summary tab, click ellipsis … at top right corner and select Disable.
Find your action in your app's Actions tab, click ellipsis … at top right corner and select Disable.
Enabling an action
When the action is ready to be run, navigate your action on My apps page, click ellipsis … at top right corner and select Enable.
This will enable the action for all users that have the right to run the action.
Enabling an action puts it back to the suggested actions list in Slack.
Enabling and disabling all actions of an app
Locate your app in My apps page and click ellipsis … at top right corner. Select Enable all to enable all actions of an app. Select Disable all to disable all actions of an app.
